Miz Mooz Cosma shoe in blue from Shoes on Fourth

Summer is all about backyard BBQ’s, watermelon, slushy drinks, and new shoes!  If you live in the Vancouver area, join myself and my pretty pal Alicia of Alicia Fashionista this Thursday from 6-9pm at Shoes on Fourth for a fun and fabulous summer bash.  They have an amazing variety of beautiful footwear with their main in house brand being Miz Mooz.  Expect bright pops of colour, beautiful detailing, and extreme comfort from their collection.  But don’t take my word for it, try some on for yourself!  I’d love to have you join the fun on Thursday, so bring a friend {or three} and enjoy 10% off regular priced shoes, nibbles, sips, swag bags and more.  See below for how to RSVP + more details.  Hope to see you there!

I think rompers are adorable!  One problem, I’ve never been able to find one that suits me and fits.  Most rompers are geared towards a smaller, younger, tighter figure than mine.  Not cutting myself down, just a fact.  I was pumped when I found this sexy yet age and lifestyle appropriate romper at Barefoot Contessa.  It fits me perfectly and shows off what I’m comfortable showing off and flatters the rest.  It’s still way too cold to break it out here in Vancouver, but I will be packing it for my trip to San Fransisco in June.  A girl’s gotta plan ahead!

When it comes to maternity wear, I have found pants and denim the most difficult to find; that is until I took a trip to Mavi jeans.  Mavi offers up the option to have any of their jeans turned into maternity bottoms for only an additional $20 at time of purchase.  They offer a choice of three bands in varying widths and will match up a colour that suits your jeans best.  Mavi has their own in house seamstress to ensure consistent quality work.  I have been wearing my new jeans a ton. They are extremely comfortable and being that I could choose any pair, they are flattering too.

My panels also have an adjustable waistband so I can let it out as my bump grows.

To kick off a new month, I’m starting a new “of the week” feature with one of my favorite topics…shoes!

Miz Mooz “Seeley” shoe c/o (here)

I highly doubt Cinderella’s glass slipper was even kinda comfortable though.  Last week, myself and the rest of The Style Common crew got to shop for a new pair of Miz Mooz shoes for their big Spring event.  These have got to be one of the most comfortable pair of heels I have ever owned.  With a busy night of mingling and standing on concrete floors, there was no foot pain in sight.  It’s a shoe miracle!

I’m in love with the fun colours of these ankle boots.

Colourful candy bar.

Me with the beautiful Brooke.

We Style Common Ladies loved this colour block bag.

Happy Friday! xo
