Christmas is just a month away, so I figured what better time to share some cute holiday gift ideas.  A few months ago I had the pleasure of attending the Chapters / Indigo Holiday preview media event.  Even though the weather was still hot, I was transported into a holiday wonderland with gifts galore.  When it comes to gift shopping there is so much more than just the prezzies that get unwrapped on Christmas morning.   There are host and hostess gifts for holiday soirees, gifts for teachers,  and at work secret santa’s.

This is not a sponsored post.  Just sharing some lovely things from a store I love.

It’s not too late!  You’ve still got time to find last minute fabulous gifts for the ladies still on your list.  Last week I went to one of my favorite local boutiques {Barefoot Contessa} to finish my Christmas shopping and maybe pick up a couple things for myself too.  It’s just all too hard to resist.

For the gardener…

Paperwhites {$18}.  These beauties have been made by Barefoot Contessa boutique owner herself.  She has sourced beautiful vintage silverware and teacups and filled them with forced bulbs.  A pretty little plant with white flowers  will grow over the winter.  Then this Spring they can be transferred into a bigger pot for outside.

For the tea lover…

As a tea lover myself, this is the type of gift I love to give.  The perfect thing for winter nights.
Gold Lip teacup & saucer $29.90
Honey dipper $7.95
Teapot teabag dish $3.95
Teatime pastel napkins $6
Peppermint tea $3.95

For the hostess…

Are you the one bringing the desert to your Christmas soiree?  Why not bring your lovely hostess a gorgeous glittery cake server {$20.95} and spoons {$6.95 each}?  Available in gold and silver.
Sidebar: Panetone {Italian Christmas sweet bread} is one of the most delicious things ever!  Happy to give and receive it.

All these lovely things are available at Barefoot Contessa except the Panetone which I purchased at Home Sense.
