Now that we’re into Spring and warmer days (at least here on the West Coast), I’ve been bringing out my Spring shoes and stashing away my boots. Yesterday I accomplished a huge clean out and purge of my closet. It feels amazing! I found my favorite Marc Jacobs umbrella, some pretty lace Hanky Panky camis I forgot I had, and pulled out my Manolos. I love these shoes for so many reasons. First of all, they’re Manolos…second, they’re classic and I hope to have them forever…and third, they were a pre-wedding prezzie from my husband so they have sentimental value too. These shoes were also featured last Spring on Flare.com as my Spring Shoes for Blogger Style. (See the full feature here.)

Le Chateau & Flare's Holiday Event

On Saturday I braved the cold weather to head down town for the Le Chateau and Flare Holiday Event. We were treated to cocktails and macrons along with hair touch ups and manicures by Suki’s.

Models walked through the store wearing this season’s latest looks and onlookers enjoyed fashion demonstrations. Admittedly, I have not really shopped at Le Chateau since high school (I will spare you with how long ago that was). I was pleasantly surprised to find some very cute things. I took advantage of their sweater promotion (Buy 1 Get 1 30% off), as well as found a cute little fur vest, and a grey pashmina. I must say Le Chateau has always had an amazing selection of pashminas for $15.
