vest & hat: c/o Hunni’s , tee: Kersh (old),  jeans: Winners, boots: Plenty, necklace: Karen Telio, ring: Aldo

I often choose boho inspired pieces for the warmer months, but don’t really think of it for Winter.  If there was such a thing as a Winter music festival….Coa-chilla?….I would want to think I would wear something like this.  I’m pretty sure that hats, fringe, and messy hair are music festival staples now.  This look was a nice change up from my giant sweaters I’ve been wrapped up in my office in.  The boot, vest, and hair coordinating was kinda awesome too.  Clearly this outfit was meant to be.

I definitely gravitate to a lot of black these days.  It’s flattering and offers the perfect backdrop for layered pieces and accessories.  Hats have also been my saviour lately.  With loads of rainy days and each day being fuller than the next, a hat to cover my messy locks is a no brainer.  I’m still in the midst of one of the most hectic times of my life right now and admittedly have had few stylish moments as of late.  Thank you to Hunni’s for this fun collab.  You made this Momma feel pretty in something new.

sweater & scarf: c/o Jackson Rowe
dress: Old Navy
shoes: Kenneth Cole (old)
necklace: Forever 21 (old)

Sometimes you come across a line that you just LOVE!  This happened to me after visiting the Jackson Rowe showroom.  This line has pieces with real personality.  There is a simplicity and interest to it all at the same time.  The print on this scarf is everything.  The designer originally had sketched this image for herself for a potential tattoo.  Instead she shared it for all of us to wear.  I feel like this sweater knows no season.  It’s perfect for Summer nights but will be equally gorgeous this Fall.  If you love easy clothing with a boho vibe, this label is must.

The Summer issue of Stimuli Magazine is out!   I am so excited to tell you that I will now be a regular fashion contributor for them.  For Summer I am talking wedding style.  This is how I have elevated the typically casual boho look to wear to a Summer wedding.  Here are a few more snaps of the look I put together.  Be sure to check out my full article and the whole  issue here.

Top & Shoes: c/o Barefoot Contessa
Jeans: AG Jeans (pre-pregnancy jeans yo!)
Sunnies: Rayban
Bag: Brave Leather
Earrings: c/o Keltie Leanne
Bracelet: c/o Charles & Grace

Soooo, NBD but these are a pair of my pre-pregnancy jeans.  Who am I kidding?  It’s a HUGE deal!  Forget the scale!  It is a major feeling of accomplishment when all your working out starts paying off and you hear that zip as a pair of beloved jeans make their way over your new body.  I have some pretty fab jeans in my closet.  Happy I can start getting into them again.

This look was inspired after running into a friend of mine while she was shopping for items to take to Coachella.  She’s a mom and made a joke about her probably being the oldest one there.  Age, shmage!  Music festivals are for us all.  And the fashion?  There is a way to interpret the ever-so-popular boho look into something age appropriate and not at all costumey.  I found this gorgeous blouse on a shopping trip to Barefoot Contessa last week.  I loved the detail and flowy but flattering cut.  Boho items are perfect for when the sunshine starts to show itself and days get warmer.  It’s laid back and put together in the perfect West Coast way.  So mommies, I say break out the bell bottoms, grab a floral crown, and start throwing out those peace signs.
