Good Luck

As of today I am starting a new chapter in my life.  Yesterday was my last official day as the General Manager and Assistant Buyer of The Urban Rack clothing boutique.  This has been my job for almost nine years.  It’s going to be  huge change but I felt it was time to pursue something new.  Currently my new chapter has yet to be written.  I am going to take a bit of time to blog, read, and figure out what I want to be when I grow up;)

Last night, my amazing staff and co-workers of past and present had a Last-Day-of-Work Soiree for me at Bridges Restaurant in Vancouver.  We laughed, ate,….ate some more, and told stories as retailers tend to do.  Along with beautiful cards, flowers, and fashion mags, I was given this amazing Pyrrha necklace.  It’s meaning:  “This handcrafted wax seal necklace features a tooth, which is a symbol of good luck in many cultures. It is also thought to symbolize the start of a new phase in life.”  Such an amazing gift from such an amazing group of women.
